Standards-Led Approach

Aetheric's technology practice is guided by the same international standards framework that underpins our consulting work.

  • IEC 62305-2:2024 recognises thunderstorm warning systems (TWS) as a protection measure within the risk assessment framework, quantifying the reduction in risk to persons and structures when warnings are implemented.
  • IEC 62793 defines the performance requirements, classification and testing criteria for thunderstorm warning systems, establishing the benchmarks that inform our technology selection.

Every technology product Aetheric brings to market will be selected, configured and supported against these and related standards, so that operators can integrate thunderstorm warning systems directly into their existing risk management and compliance frameworks.
